Terms of Service

These terms are a legal agreement between you and First Point Technology Pty Ltd (ABN 99 665 267 498). By creating an account, making a payment, or using CrackMyJob.ai, you agree to them. Please read them with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. Who we are
CrackMyJob.ai is operated by First Point Technology Pty Ltd (ABN 99 665 267 498) (ABN to be registered), Brisbane, Queensland, Australia (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at hello@crackmyjob.ai.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and use your own resume — see clause 6.
3. The service
CrackMyJob.ai provides an AI-generated interview-probability score and related documents (resume, cover letter, interview questions, salary intelligence and outreach), tailored to a job you specify. The free score is provided as a guide; the job pack and certain features are paid.
4. AI accuracy — important disclaimer
Our outputs are generated using artificial intelligence and may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies. The interview probability score is an AI-estimated indicator based on probability — it is not accurate in every case and is not a guarantee of any interview, job offer or other outcome. We make no representation that using the service will result in employment. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying and editing every output for accuracy and truthfulness before you use or submit it.
5. Your content and our outputs
You retain ownership of the resume and information you provide. You own the documents we generate for you and may use them for your own job applications. You grant us a limited licence to process your content to provide the service.
6. Honest use — no fabricated credentials
You must not use the service to misrepresent your qualifications, skills, experience or identity. Our tools are designed to reword your genuine experience and will not add skills you confirm you do not have. You are solely responsible for ensuring everything you submit to an employer is truthful. Submitting fabricated credentials may breach the law and is your responsibility, not ours.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not upload another person’s resume or personal data without their consent, or use the service to impersonate anyone.
- Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Do not use the service for unlawful, harmful or deceptive purposes.
8. Pricing, payments and GST
Prices are shown in Australian dollars and, for Australian customers, are inclusive of 10% GST. We may change prices prospectively; changes will not affect a subscription period you have already paid for. Payments are processed by Stripe.
9. Subscriptions and auto-renewal
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. We disclose the price and billing frequency before you subscribe. You can cancel at any time from your account or by contacting us; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
10. Your consumer guarantees (Australian Consumer Law)
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees. Where we are entitled to limit our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee in relation to services, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
11. Limitation of liability
Subject to clause 10 and to the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, opportunities, employment or data, arising from your use of the service; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 6 months before the claim.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service, including any inaccurate or misleading information you submit to a third party.
13. Third-party services and links
The service relies on third parties (for example Anthropic, Supabase, Stripe and Vercel) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account from your account settings. When you delete your account, your personal content is held in a recoverable state for a 90-day restore window and then permanently deleted, while minimised consent and compliance records are retained for up to 7 years — see the “Data retention and account deletion” section of our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the service or other users.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the updated version and update the version/date. Continued use after changes means you accept them; where required, we will ask you to re-acknowledge.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in your place of residence.
